A speculative design project developed at Samcara Lab, Keio University Graduate School of Media Design, envisioning seaweed-based living textiles that evolve with environmental conditions. The narrative video combines Japanese cultural philosophy with speculative storytelling to explore ecology, material futures, and our relationship with the Earth. The project was awarded the Terra Prize for Outstanding Digital Submission at the Biodesign Challenge 2025.

I came up with the original idea and concept, and developed it further with my lab team. I wrote the script and shaped the overall story and message of the video. I also edited the video, bringing together visuals, pacing, and sound to create a cohesive and engaging narrative. From the first idea to the final cut, I was responsible for translating the research into a clear and compelling story.
